Its really hard to surf through the web and read everything intersts you that come across your way when you have such limited time..

Anyway, I managed to go through some blogs, and found that the we blog for darfur is improving.. articles has been added and it looks much better now.. Impressive..

As a member, I dunno if I can do much.. But I'm willin to try my best and give it all I can.. as a start, I read the first article added "What's darfur really about?" for my self as one.. Truely I am Sudanese, but living out of sudan most of my life, I can never say I know much bout what's going on.. and what really happened..

A link to 5 truths bout darfur was there too.. Really intresting.. here they are, if you're too Buzy to go through the whole article:

1. Nearly everyone is muslim..
2. Everyone is BLACK.
3. Its all about politics.
4. This conflict in international..
5. The genocide label made it worse..

See, reading the header points is not enough.. you must go and read the whole article along with the "Whats darfur really bout"

I didnt know as much! and Now I know..

A first step in the right path i guess..

12 Hours!

I havent been much around lately.. Its been a week since my 12 hour duty started..

Its really hectic and my whole day scheadule had to change accordingly..

My day now starts at 12 or1 pm. Thats when I wake up, have lunch and check on what's happening with my family..

Then I get online for a few hours.. check my email, chat with some friends and go through some blogs and websites..

Before I know it and before getting a chance to even take a look at my own blog, its 3 pm.. I take a short nap till 5, then get ready and take off to work..

Another long 12 hours start at 6 pm.

Its still the begining.. so work hasnt got really busy these days just yet.. probably next week I wouldnt get the chance to even have my dinner.. But now its fine..
between phone calls and organizing with the drivers, I get a chance to talk with other collegues and even play cards.. play computer games.. or take a short 1 hour nap..
6 am, my work is done.. So sleepy with my eyes struggeling to open I drive home.. and sleep for the next 5 or 6 hours..

Gladly this wont last for long.. Once this Asian games are over, everything will be back to normal and I'll get more time to work and write on this blog.

Meanwhile I'd like to thanks Drima and everyone at MidEast Youth for their "We Blog for Darfur" campaign.. Hope it really works out for the best..

I'll try to participate as much as I can with it..

Darfur truely needs more attention and I guess blogosphere will be a good step for that!

The 15th Asian Games in Qatar

Starting from today, 12th November.. My work will be for 12 hours daily!!

Qatar will be hosting the 15th Asian Games (ASIAD), therefore there will be 24 hours day work almost everywhere around the country..

The small city of Doha will be crowded with players, team management, fans and people from all over the continent wanting to participate or attend this great event.

For my self I choose the Night Shift, from 6 pm to 6 am.. This way I can still be with my family in day time incase they needed anything.

I'm sure its gonna be a tough thing.. working for 12 hours continuosly.. It'll also change much in my daily scheadules..

I wont have much time as I used to sit on the internet, I guess I'll really miss that!!

Nevertheless, it'll still be a great experience and a chance for me to meet new people from different places.

I'll try to keep you posted with any news. since am goin to be UPclose and personal with this great event..
